About Dr Tjaart van der Merwe
Dr Tjaart van der Merwe qualified as a Chiropractor in 2007 from Durban University of Technology, where he received the Excellence award as the graduating doctor who demonstrated an outstanding accomplishment in service to patients, the college and the chiropractic profession.
His special interest and love for sports performance drove him to further his studies in the sports chiropractic field. He has since obtained his International Certification as a sports chiropractor though the Federation of Chiropractic du Sport (FICS).
He’s also a past Chairman and member of Chiro Sport South Africa. He maintains his international connection and education through FICS as Vice Chairman of the FICS Membership Commission.
He’s a devoted family man that remains fit and healthy as a keen cyclist that enjoys the outdoor lifestyle. He also admits that he has a small fishing addiction.

About Dr Danica Strydom
Dr Danica Strydom qualified as a Chiropractor in 2024 from Durban University of Technology. She received the CASA Excellence award for the graduating student who demonstrated to be the best all-rounded chiropractor. She was also top academic achiever in her class and was awarded 52 distinctions.
She grew up in Port Elizabeth and then moved to Durban in 2018 to study her degree in Chiropractics and has now found herself in the town of Potchefstroom. Her passion lies in paediatrics and family chiropractics, however she is able to treat everyone. She has a passion for helping people and looks forward to growing her skills.
